Is NIOD CAIS3 more potent than CAIS 2:1? Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1 replaces Copper Amino Isolate Serum 2:1 and offers the same pro-collagen and pro-repair benefits without mixing.
Can I mix NIOD CAIS3 with my Buffet Serum, or it’s better to use it alone? You may apply The Ordinary “Buffet” after use.
How is CAIS3 different to CAIS2? CAIS 3 1:1 is the third generation of NIOD’s multi-award-winning Copper Amino Isolate Serum. Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1 replaces Copper Amino Isolate Serum 2:1. The previous generation of CAIS contained 2%% of pure GHK peptide, of which 1%% branched with copper ions upon mixing, forming 1%% freshly-assembled, pro-repair GHK-Cu (copper peptides) and leaving 1%% free-form, pro-collagen GHK peptide, for a final ratio of 1:1. The new formula omits mixing, instead of containing 1%% concentration by weight of pre-assembled and fully stable GHK-Cu, alongside 1%% GHK peptide. Since this formula no longer requires additional GHK peptide for copper complexation, and no other copper source is added, it carries the name CAIS 3 1:1 as a reflection of the ratio of these ingredients in the formulation.

Why can´t copper peptide be used in the same routine as Retinoids? We don’t recommend combining copper peptides with retinoids and retinol in the same routine due to the combination’s potential to increase skin sensitivity. We also do not recommend combining copper peptides with strong antioxidants due to the antioxidant’s susceptibility to the copper ions present in the formula.
Can CAIS 3 be used with SDSM? Yes, it can.
Would CAIS3 be used morning or night with Retinol (night) or vitamin C (morning)?It can be used twice daily if desired. If you wish to incorporate multiple Vitamin C’s, Retinoids, and/or Direct Acids into your skin care regimen, we suggest using them on alternate evenings and waiting until your skin has adjusted to one before introducing another.
Is CAIS3 the same texture as before, or is this formulation thicker? Cais 3 has the same texture as CAIS2- ultra-lightweight.
Can CAIS3 be used with NIOD ELAN? We would recommend using these in alternate routines.
Is it okay to use CAIS3 with my Retinol? We recommend using CAIS 3 1:1 in the AM and your Retinol in the PM.
Can we use NIOD CAIS be used in the same routine as Survival 0? Yes, you can. You may apply CAIS2 or CAIS3 first.
Can I use NIOD CAIS3 with antioxidants like EUK or Pycnogenol, etc? We would recommend using Copper Peptides in alternate routines as strong antioxidants.
Is it ok to use CAIS with The Ordinary Glycolic Toner? We recommend using Copper Peptides in alternate routines as Direct Acids.

Is there any change regarding active ingredient concentrations? This formula no longer requires additional GHK peptide for copper complexation. However, the concentration of GHK-Cu is the same.
Does NIOD CAIS help blemish-prone skin? Just as a note – none of our products can be considered medical treatments for acne, so we suggest consulting with your physician to see what may work best for your skin.
Is the shelf life shorter than with CAIS 2 now there is no mixing? The shelf life is the same.
